Technical container setup for the energy sector: modular installation in 4× 10-foot containers
For this project, we designed a technical container setup for the energy sector, consisting of four 10-foot technical containers. The containers are connected and mounted on a mobile chassis, creating a compact, scalable, and transportable energy facility.
This setup is a clear example of technical containers being used as the core of energy infrastructure.
Four technical modules in a single integrated system
The facility consists of:
- 4 separate 10-foot technical containers
- each equipped for a specific technical function
- linked together to form a single operational unit
Working with multiple smaller containers allows for flexibility in construction, maintenance, and potential expansion.
Developed for energy applications
This container configuration is designed for actual energy installations, such as:
- electrical installations
- energy distribution or storage
- control and switching technology
- temporary or mobile energy infrastructure
The containers serve exclusively as technical enclosures for installations, not as living quarters.
Technical access and security
Each container is equipped with:
- technical access doors
- integrated service hatches
- robust locks
This enables safe access for technical personnel and protects the installations from unauthorized access and weather conditions.
Ventilation and heat dissipation
Ventilation grilles are integrated into the container walls, essential for:
- heat dissipation from energy systems
- stable operation of equipment
- extending the service life of components
Ventilation is tailored to the internal technical load of each container.
Mounted on a trailer for mobility
The four containers are mounted on a shared trailer chassis, which ensures:
- easy movement between sites
- rapid deployment
- minimal installation time on-site
Mobility is a functional advantage here, ideal for temporary or rotating energy projects.
Robust industrial design
The containers feature a neutral, industrial finish, suitable for technical and energy environments. The steel container structure offers:
- high mechanical strength
- protection of sensitive equipment
- reliable operation in outdoor installations
Modular and scalable design
Thanks to the modular concept, this energy setup can be:
- be expanded with additional containers
- be adapted in configuration
- be used as a temporary or permanent system
Each 10-foot container can be replaced or reconfigured individually, without dismantling the entire system.
Quick installation and integration on site
The container layout can be prefabricated and then:
- quickly installed on-site
- connected to external networks
- made operational immediately
This significantly shortens the lead time for energy projects.
