Construction of our units

DS Units are constructed using a well-engineered steel structure that ensures stability, durability, and flexibility. Each unit is designed as a two-axle steel moment frame, providing a strong and rigid base structure.

The load is efficiently distributed via secondary support beams, which transfer the forces to the primary beams.

Thanks to this construction method, our units can be safely moved, stacked, and coupled without compromising stability or load-bearing capacity. Furthermore, the steel structure allows for the creation of large spans, open spaces, and various layouts.

Ceiling

The ceiling of our units serves a dual purpose. In addition to the top insulation layer, the ceiling also functions as the primary roof, ensuring excellent waterproofing and protection against the elements.

The outer layer consists of a 0.7 mm thick coated steel sheet, installed at an angle for optimal drainage and extra protection against rain, wind, and snow. The ceiling’s thermal insulation can be flexibly adapted to the required U-values by using different thicknesses and types of insulation material.

Wall

Exterior walls form the primary barrier between indoor and outdoor spaces and play a crucial role in energy performance, acoustics, and fire safety. Depending on the application, different wall constructions are used to meet applicable standards and requirements.

The exterior of the wall consists of a 0.5 mm thick coated sheet steel, which provides protection against the elements and ensures a sleek, durable finish. The thermal insulation can, just like with the ceiling, be adjusted to the desired U-values.

Floor

The floor of our units is designed to withstand heavy loads and wear and tear with ease. Depending on the application, the floor structure can be adapted to a wide range of loads, from light office use to intensive industrial applications.

The floor consists of a load-bearing base structure, combined with thermal insulation and a durable exterior finish. The top finish can be tailored to the intended use and desired appearance.
