For this project, we created a modular DS Box configuration consisting of four 6 × 2.5-meter DS Boxes, combined with an external staircase and a fully integrated rooftop terrace. This configuration demonstrates how a limited footprint can be expanded with high-quality outdoor space without adding additional building volume.

Linear layout with maximum transparency

The four DS Boxes are placed side by side, resulting in a single elongated and well-organized volume. The entire facade features large glass sections, which:

• the interior feels open and light
• a visual connection with the surroundings
• the arrangement remains inviting and transparent

This configuration is suitable for a wide range of temporary or semi-permanent applications.

Roof terrace as a fully-fledged extra space

A spacious rooftop terrace was integrated on top of the DS Box configuration, fully finished with:

• wooden decking
• metal balustrades
• safe edge trim all around

The rooftop terrace serves as:

• a lounge and gathering space
• an additional experiential layer
• functional outdoor area without requiring additional floor space

External staircase for efficient circulation

The rooftop terrace is accessible via an external metal staircase, which:

• provides clear and safe access
• keeps the interior space completely unobstructed
• contributes to the open and industrial character

By organizing circulation outside, the entire DS Box structure remains flexible in its application.

Compact, modular, and flexible

This setup proves that a fully-fledged, multifunctional structure can be realized with just four DS Boxes. Thanks to its modular nature, the configuration is:

• easily adaptable
• reconfigurable
• expandable with additional DS Boxes
• suitable for temporary or long-term use

The same DS Boxes can later be used in a different setup or at a different location.

Quick implementation without traditional construction

As with all DS Box solutions, this structure could be installed quickly, without traditional construction work. This makes the setup particularly suitable for locations where speed, flexibility, and minimal impact are essential.
