For this project, we designed a modern bakehouse inspired by traditional outbuildings but reimagined in a contemporary, modular style. This bakehouse combines authentic character with comfort and sustainability, serving as both a functional and aesthetic addition to the site.

Traditional concept in a modern form

The bakehouse was designed as a compact and clean-lined structure, with a clear reference to the classic function of a bakehouse. The sleek design and straight lines give it a contemporary look, while the materials exude warmth and craftsmanship.

Warm wood finish as an eye-catcher

The bakery is fully clad in wood siding, which creates a warm and natural look. The horizontal placement of the wood emphasizes the volume and gives the building a timeless character.

The combination with dark window and door frames creates a sharp contrast and a polished finish.
